Latest news! Rohde & Schwarz expands network-analyzer family!

According to Test and Measurement World, two new models join the ZNB series of vector network analyzers from Rohde & Schwarz: the midrange ZNB20 and ZNB40 for frequency ranges of 100 kHz to 20 GHz and 10 MHz to 40 GHz, respectively.
Each instrument is equipped with two test ports and a 16:9 format touch screen for easy operation. A dynamic range of up to 135 dB makes the analyzers suitable for performing measurements on high-blocking DUTs, such as filters.

The ZNB20 offers a large dynamic range even at its starting frequency of 100 kHz. A measurement time of 5 ms with 401 points enables high throughput, while a broad electronic control range of the output level up to 70 dB allows analysis of the small and large signal behavior of active components.

Both of the two-port analyzers feature a 12.1-in. display and a flat menu structure that helps users find the necessary instrument functions in no more than three steps. A four-port version of the ZNB20 is planned for the fall of 2013.
