World’s First Invisible Skyscraper! Is it Wizarding Magic?

Unfortunately it’s not a sign of Harry Potter’s Wizarding World* coming alive.

Instead, Muggle* dreams and innovation are becoming a reality with South Korea now in their early planning stages to build the world’s first invisible skyscraper!

 

Architects of the grand invisible skyscraper, dubbed Tower Infinity, were granted a permit to begin construction on the 1,476-foot building, according to a press release.

..[T]he building is designed to achieve invisibility through a rather simple method. It will employ a system that uses optical cameras to project what’s behind one side of the building onto an LED facade on the opposite side. So, if you’re looking at the building from the north and a rainstorm is behind it to the south, you’ll see the rainstorm on that north side.

The skyscraper is set to include a water park, movie theaters and restaurants. The tower’s observation deck will be the third highest in the world, and is planned to go up right outside Seoul’s Incheon International Airport.
